Spring is in the air

Our sinuses are screaming pollen too but it’s not just that. We want to get out. Run around. Kick up our heals. Wear less clothes. Feel the sun on our face.

The rhythms of life are being squashed under the necessary rules of social distancing. Spring vacations, spring romances, spring weddings are missing in action this year. Spring is here but it’s like a bucket of cold water has been thrown all over it.

I miss my kids. I miss my grandkids. I miss the freedom of going where I want, whenever I want. I miss my ‘normal’, whatever that is.

I am also incredibly grateful that family and friends and of course ourselves, continue to remain safe and well. We are enormously thankful to all those who are working to keep us that way. When all this is over and we reach the other side, it will be a glorious thing.

Nothing is permanent in this wicked world ~ not even our troubles

I am taking great joy in making videos. It keeps me entertained and busy. Enjoy and stay well everyone.

  1. Love, love, love this! Could be a tourist advertisement for our beautiful area, but shhhh….we don’t want to tell too many! 😊

    1. Haha yes. Good thing British Columbia is so big with plenty of space to share.

  2. Wow, beautiful scenery shots of the Okanagan neighbourhood. Thanks for sharing moments of your special life to us lucky followers.
